COLOUR HEADLIGHTS ARE ILLEGAL IN AUSTRALIA... BUT WHAT IF YOU COULD GET YOUR HANDS ON SOMETHING THAT WOULD LOOK LIKE COLOUR HEADLIGHTS, AND IS PERFECTLY LEGAL? In fact, it’s already been approved in one State in Australia and it’s about to be approved throughout the rest of the country...
Sounds interesting, right? It’s called Crystalite.
It’s not a film for tinting headlamps. And it’s not the blue coloured light you’ve seen like Zenon or Blue Tipped Globes. Crystalite colour headlights don’t actually transmit coloured light.
So what is it then?
Crystalite incorporates new Japanese Nano Technology.
It’s actually a liquid gloss that’s applied over glass or polycarbonate headlamps. It colours your headlights, but just makes them look like colour headlights. It emits only white light so it fully complies with Australian Design Rules.
That’s why you can now get colour headlights without breaking the law.
5 OTHER BENEFITS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT CRYSTALITE COLOUR HEADLIGHTS
1. Brighter headlights – The Crystalite solution fills in any small blemishes or pit marks in the lens. This increases light and heat which creates the effect of a brighter beam.
2. Longer globe life – Because the light isn’t reflected back on to the globe, it prevents overheating and premature globe failure.
3. Stronger headlights – The headlight hardness will increase by at least one third, from 1H or 2H Hardness to 3H Hardness. This will also mean less scratching and chipping. The glass coating will also make the lens more fire resistant.
4. Longer lasting headlights – Because Crystalite colour headlights increases hardness, it reduces damage to the lens and the UV protective lens coating caused by sunlight, air and UV. This reduces oxidation on the lens which has the potential to double the life of headlamps.
5. Complies with the law – Now you can have colour headlights on your car without breaking the law. To maintain Australian Design Rules, get Crystalite legally fitted by a registered installer. See a list of Registered Installers.
